But the format has been changed for the present year, and 2019 free agency have a different schedule. It will start on June 30, at 6 pm in the EST time.

The important thing here is although the free agency will start early, none of the deals will be considered official until July 6. It means that no matter which team or player announces anything, everything will be a rumor before Saturday’s happenings.
