Apple is once again ready to conduct its annual event WWDC for the year 2019. Every year Apple organizes a Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) to launch new products. At this event, developers from all over the world meet the team of Apple engineers.

Apple WWDC 2019 is the annual event for the Cupertino based tech giant where it makes huge announcements. Apple will launch the latest software and hardware updates this year. Here is all the information about the event.

Dates and Venue

Apple WWDC 2019 will start on June 3, 2019 (Monday) and it will run up to June 7, 2019 (Friday) for a total of 5 days. The venue for this year’s event will be the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, similar to the last two years.

Before that, Apple used Moscone Center in San Francisco for WWDC. But now, it has moved closer to its Cupertino campus for the ease. Since Apple has already announced the timings of the event, it is very likely to change.

iOS 13

One of the most awaited software launches at Apple WWDC 2019 is the new iOS 13. There are solid reports that Apple will finally unveil its latest iOS 13 update for the iPhones. Features such as Dark mode, new sleep mode, notifications mute, dark Lock screen are supposed to be included in iOS 13.

Several reports are also claiming that iOS 13 for iPad will finally introduce the multiple window feature. An iPad user will be able to carry out two task side by side at the same time. It’s not yet clear which Apple iPhones would be able to support iOS 13, as it depends on the chipset processor.

macOS 10.15

Apple macOS 10.14 called as Mojave, introduced a lot of cool new features including the creative tools and dark mode. Fans are largely waiting for the new macOS 10.15 launch at Apple WWDC 2019. There is not much information revealed about macOS 10.15 but users are expecting some new features already.

Apple macOS 10.15 might include some of the iOS features such as Siri Shortcut app, window screenshot, support for Screen Time, newer Apple ID management, iMessage effects and a new find my phone app. There are also several rumors that iTunes will no longer continue and it will be replaced by separate Music, Books, TV and Podcasts apps.

The macOS 10.15 might also introduce the long-awaited feature which enables Apple users to link up their iPads with MacBooks as secondary displays. If everything goes as per schedule, macOS 10.15 will be showcased at WWDC 2019 and released in September this year.

TV and Watch OS

Along with OS for iPhone and iMac, Apple might also unveil the operating system for other Apple devices at WWDC 2019. WatchOS 6 and tvOS 13 are almost confirmed to launch at this year’s WWDC.

According to reports, Apple is planning to launch a new revamped version of its computer 2019 Mac Pro. Though there is not much information, it is largely speculated new external monitor desktops will be revealed at Apple WWDC 2019.

Apple WWDC 2019 is mostly used for making new software announcements. There is less chance that we get to see any actual hardware products. Apple might wait till September to launch iPhone 11 and other new products.
