Will Thanos die in Avengers Endgame? That is a question that is in the mind of every MCU fan out there.
Thanos is the biggest and the baddest villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) so far. The character was teased for a few movies before the final reveal and has since emerged to be one of the most powerful entities in the MCU.
Let us take a closer look at this and try and understand the scenarios that can happen in the movie.
Will Thanos Die in Avengers Endgame?
Given that Thanos is no random alien that has invaded earth – but one of the biggest villains in the history of the MCU (as well as the comics), it is highly unlikely that he will die in the movie. The most likely scenario is that he would be stripped off the gauntlet in Avengers Endgame and will be captured and taken to some realm where his powers would be curtailed.
There’s a good chance that we will see Thanos make a re-appearance in one of the later MCU movies, but that is not likely to happen anytime soon. Hence, we do not believe that Thanos is going to die in Avengers: Endgame.
Who’s The Next Big MCU Villain After Thanos?
Given that the Thanos storyline will finally come to a conclusion in Avengers Endgame, the hunt for a new supervillain will begin.
While nothing can be said for sure, there are two major contenders for the void that will be left by Thanos’s exit: Galactus and the Beyonder. Could a Secret Wars series be next on MCU? We’ll find out! Stay tuned.
