The biggest mystery of UFC: When will Conor McGregor return. No one really knows the answer to this. Perhaps not even Conor himself. But he’ll be back soon. Dana White has been telling us that. McGregor too has been telling us that. As of now, one can only make a fair estimate as to when the Irishman will be back in action and who he would face.
Let us take a closer look at Conor McGregor’s UFC return and his imminent fight against Dustin Poirier.
I’m almost positive they are going to announce Poirier vs McGregor for Dublin, December 14.

Is Dustin Poirier Confirmed as McGregor’s Next Opponent?
No, as of now it is not confirmed. However, the status of Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier II is pretty much the same as Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson – deep inside, you know this IS going to happen, but you just don’t know when exactly! Here are some potential dates:
It has to be between UFC 245 or UFC 246. McGregor’s return is not likely to go beyond December or January and given that UFC 243 is way too close to book a fight and UFC 244 already has a stacked card, it appears that McGregor vs Poirier II will happen at either of the two above mentioned UFC events.

Who Will Win McGregor vs Poirier II?
While both the men are good fighters, odds will heavily be in the favor of the returning Conor McGregor as he begins to build himself up to face Khabib Nurmagomedov once again. McGregor vs Poirier would just be one step forward towards McGregor vs Khabib II! There is very slim chance that Conor McGregor loses to Dustin Poirier.
