As of now there is no definite and official date as to when he plans to return, but we know that he has been teasing a return for quite some time now. Dana White had commented that McGregor’s UFC return will take place later this year – and McGregor too had made a cryptic tweet saying “Dublin, December 14”. Could this mean he is making a return at UFC 245?

No! This is just a ruse as McGregor likes to tease people. Based on the latest information, the Irishman isn’t expected to be back anytime before January 2020. This is mostly because he has a major TV appearance in Japan where he would be competing in physical strength against former boxing rival Floyd ‘The Money’ Mayweather.

McGregor and Poirier have both been teasing the fact that they are going to fight each other at some point in the future.
