Brooklyn Nets can be said as the winner of NBA free agency 2019 as they managed to get the biggest stars in their team. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving both signed a four-year max deal with the Nets in the current free agency. The New York Knicks had the largest amount of money in their cap space, yet they lost the players to the Nets.

DeAndre Jordan was also exchanged with the Warriors in sign and trade deal, where D’Angelo Russel was sent out to them. But it is still a good thing for the Nets team as they have a powerful trio to lead them into the NBA 2020 finals. Whereas the Lakers are still struggling to find a third star to support the LeBron James and Anthony Davis duo. The Brooklyn Nets picked up Nicolas Claxton for the No. 31 overall pick in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft lottery.  The Nets also managed to pick up Jaylen Hands at the 56th overall pick in the NBA draft trade. Claxton had played two seasons for the University of Gloria and Hands have an experience of 2 years in the UCLA.

Along with that, they have the 2020 first round pick for the NBA 2020 draft lottery. Also, the Nets could manage a deal and have two second-round pickups from the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers team.
