McGregor Will Be Back Soon; But Not at UFC 245
McGregor has been teasing a comeback for quite some time now! He teased a retirement, then returned from that retirement, then started calling out people over Twitter and even made some racist tweets that were later pulled down! McGregor has been challenging many UFC Lightweight fighters over Twitter – but who will he face when he returns? Will it be Dustin Poirier? Most likely!
However, it doesn’t seem that McGregor will be back by UFC 245. A Featherweight division title fight was announced between Champion Max Holloway vs Challenger Alexander Volkanovski for the December PPV. While it has not been confirmed if this will be the main event of the show, there’s also a chance that Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson happens at the show!
Unpopular MMA opinion for the day
You are right to hate Conor McGregor, he's been annoying and a piece of shit while he's been out, but he'd still finish Dustin Poirier within 5 minutes.
Disclaimer: unless he's completely washed from cheap whiskey and coke

McGregor’s First Opponent Back: McGregor vs Poirier II?
Upon his return, there are two major candidates looking forward to face Conor McGregor – he is most likely to face Dustin Poirier for the second time in his career. The other challenger that awaits McGregor is Justin Gaethje who has been making quite a name for himself in the lightweight division! It will be interesting to see if Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier II indeed happens when McGregor returns to UFC!
