    George RR Martin has constantly keep reader fans waiting and confused over The Winds of Winter release date and the book story. Recently, GRRM has stopped writing the books for his personal reason, all while teasing new chapters.

    Game of Thrones Season 8 has been a mess of a show and fans are highly criticizing the storylines and character motivation. Many fans have accepted that this is not the real story and they will wait for the books from George RR Martin.

    GRRM has stopped writing The Book

    George RR Martin has been a huge fan of JRR Tolkien and his Lord of Rings books, which has been also the main inspiration behind his own A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Recently, there have been reports that GRRM is heading to Los Angeles to attend the premiere of new Tolkien movie premier.

    Tolkien movie will be premiered at Regency Westwood Village theaters in the middle of May 2019. George will then attend a Q&A session with the cast of the film including Nicholas Hoult and Lilly Collins.

    George RR Martin has released several excerpts of the new book as to assure fans that the Winds of Winter is in progress and will be finished soon, GRRM has even been staying in a private cabin in the Spanish hills to write the remaining books in peace.

    The Winds of Winter chapters which were released features the POV of Barristan Selmy, Tyrion Lannister, Theon, and Victarion Greyjoy, Arya, Sansa Stark, who is now called Alayne in the books. Winds of Winter, which is the sixth book in A Song of Ice and Fire series, is expected to arrive soon.

    While there is no fixed release date as to when will The Winds of Winter novel will available in the stores, George RR Martin has assured fans that it will be out soon, around the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020.
