Colin Kaepernick is trying hard to get an NFL deal from any of the teams and yet there is no success. The former 49ers quarterback was involved in a lot of controversies when he knelt during the national anthem in 2016 and was removed by his team. Kaepernick was firm on his protest against the racial and social injustice in America which led to him getting sort of banned from NFL.

Every year, Colin tries to get back but unfortunately, none of the deals works out. NFL 2019 season could finally see Kaepernick getting back in the field as a lot of starting quarterbacks are injured and teams such as Jets, Saints, and Steelers need replacement players. But none of them seems to be much interested in Kaepernick and are not replying to his calls, which has made the player very desperate and depressed.

Colin Kaeperncik is ready to play as Backup Quarterback

Colin Kaepernick Nessa Diab

Colin Kaepernick’s girlfriend Nessa Diab went to an interview on ESPN with Stephen A. Smith where she shared the new information about her boyfriend. Nessa revealed that Kaepernick is ready to play at any position including the backup quarterback. She added that Colin wakes up at 5 am daily and trains hard to stay in the NFL shape.

He wants to just play football and get back in the league. There is no ego problem, he would even be a backup to some younger player. He wants to play and his agent his contacting several teams. Let’s just hope one of them offers him a new deal.

No Reply from Jets, Saints and Steelers

No reply to Kaepernick by Jets Saints Steelers

Colin Kaepernick’s agent has indeed contacted a lot of NFL teams including the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sam Darnold, Drew Brees, and Ben Roethlisberger are injured and will miss a few months or even the entire NFL 2019 season.

It is why Kaepernick was hoping to stick a deal but none of the teams are even replying to his calls. NFL teams are aware of the controversies surrounding Kaepernick and they want to keep their distance from all that. It has lead to Kapernick getting so desperate that he is ready to even demoting himself to the backup quarterback position.
