Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather is a fight that no one really expected to happen! However, when the two met in the boxing ring, it was quite a shocker and while The Irishman faced a major defeat at the hands of Mayweather, the bout was quite entertaining to watch as two combat sports specialists from different sports were meeting inside the same ring!
Are the two going to clash once again? Yes and No! Let us take a closer look at what is going on between the two and when would McGregor make his octagon return!
I just remembered, there was a time when people ACTUALLY thought McGregor was gonna beat THE BEST EVER, Floyd MONEY Mayweather. I’m DEAD

McGregor vs Mayweather: But Not Boxing!
Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather is happening in Japan in December! However, not in the way you’d expect it to. While the two will be competing against each other, it will not be in a boxing fight. This would be on the Japanese version of ‘Superstars’, which used to be a hit BBC show from the 70s where athletes from different sports would come together and compete!
They’d be tested on various aspects of their skill set, strength, agility and much more! This will be a contest which would also involve a number of Japanese sports-stars also participating alongside the two. Mayweather was linked with a Pacquiao rematch for quite some time now but that seems off the table too!
Confusion Over McGregor’s UFC Return Date
Many believed that McGregor would make his return at UFC 245. However, it is unlikely for that to happen because that takes place in late-December. Hence, you can expect him to be back by January 2020 – and possibly face Dustin Poirier for a second time in his career!
