Fans of the latter claim that the court favoured the latter in the trial and did not render the proper verdict. As a result, they keep coming up with new theories to further their bias, the most recent of which refers to the verdict as being the product of western media propaganda.

The 36-year-old actress has been painted negatively since the trial began as details have emerged. In addition, a lot of secrets came to light, including previously leaked documents that revealed more about her past.

Her supporters were adamantly opposed to the idea of the actress losing the case even after the evidence had been presented to the court. Her supporters are protesting the verdict now that it has already been rendered, claiming that social media was responsible for the trial’s outcome.

One of her supporters used the example of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, to support her argument. Since joining the royal family, the latter has faced widespread public criticism and been the target of racial slurs and slander, according to the unversed.

Fans of heard shared that women are frequently the target of media attention in their statement and included a royal member to support their claim. The Western media fabricated Depp’s victory in the courtroom, and his supporters did the same by standing by the actor rather than challenging their “motives.”

Not just her admirers, but the Aquaman actress herself, agrees that the defamation lawsuit verdict was unfair. She previously revealed to Savannah Guthrie of NBC that “I think (the) vast majority of this trial was played out on social media.” 

The actress attacked her ex-husband in an op-ed, which caused the Internet to split into two opposing camps. The majority, however, defended Depp while disparaging the actress on the platform.

He then sued his ex-wife for defamation, seeking $50 million from her for damaging his reputation, and the actress countersued him for $100 million. The jury found in favor of the 59-year-old actor, awarding him $10.35 million in damages, while the former received $2 million for her counterclaims.
