Even though Kevin Costner may be enjoying his success with the show “Yellowstone,” things don’t seem to be going so well in his personal life. His wife, handbag designer Christine Baumgartner, is said to have given him an ultimatum, telling him to choose between the show and the family.

RadarOnline says that the actor who won an Academy Award wasn’t sure how long the show would go on because he didn’t think it would be successful. Even so, the show “Yellowstone” went on to be a huge hit, and it was picked up for many more seasons. But every success comes with a price.

Costner, who is now 67 years old, has to spend at least ten months away from his family and home in Los Angeles while filming the show in Montana. His wife and children live in Los Angeles right now. Both actor have three kids: Cayden, 15, Hayes, 13, and Grace, 12. Reports say that Baumgartner told Costner to quit his show so he could spend more time with his family.

“It’s really knocked a hole in their family life,” a friend in the know said, according to the outlet. “The show is such a mega-hit, producers want it to go on forever!” Christine, on the other hand, wants him to quit the show and spend more time with his family. “She wants a firm commitment this is his last season — or he might have to hit the dusty trail!” the source added.

Costner married Baumgartner in 2004, ten years after he split up with his first wife, Cindy. They had a child together. He has one child with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Rooney, and three with his ex-wife, Cindy. The couple started dating in the late 1990s, but they didn’t tell anyone about it until the year 2000. It was said that Baumgartner wanted to have her own kids, but Costner didn’t want any more, so they broke up for a while. At this point, he was a dad to four kids.
