Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18: A Brief Recap
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 had left the majority of fans in despair with one of the most loved characters dying. The episode shows Nanami fighting a group of cursed spirits. While he is fighting them, the scene of fighting constantly shifts to a complete contrast of the violent, chaotic, and unkind battle he is in the middle of. Nanami is on a beach with a blue sky, calm and at peace. He thinks of everything he would like to do, reading books he has bought, easing his exhaustion. It is truly beautiful, but what follows makes this even more devastating. Nanami dies when he faces Mahito. As he dies, he tells Yuji to take it from there.
With Nanami dying before him, Yuji gives it his all as he fights Mahito, but Mahito has his own evil intentions as his clone fights Nobara.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 19, the fight between Itadori and Mahito continues but Nobara also decides to enter the battlefield in order to help them. She encounters Mahito’s clone and manages to use Resonance and injure him somewhat with the technique. Mahito realizes that Nobara is also a potential natural enemy. But with the clone’s limited abilities, he cannot kill her. Mahito runs to where the real Mahito is and touches Nobara.
This follows a flashback from Nobara’s life. Kid Nobara hates the villagers and thinks she is the only sane one there. Nobara eventually befriends Fumi, a child who has shifted from the city to the countryside. Fumi and Nobara grow close to Saori, a young woman who shifted to the village. Nobara grows attached to her and is extremely upset when she leaves. Nobara leaves the village with a promise to reunite with Fumi and Saori the next time she comes back. Despite everything, Nobara thinks life was not bad for her.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: What To Expect Ahead?
In the next episode, we can definitely expect a final encounter between Yuji and Mahito. Yuji lost two of the most close people to Mahito right before his eyes. This calls for the ultimate fight.
