Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240: Major Spoiler Update Hints At Kenjaku vs Takaba
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240, titled “Baka Survivor-Survive!!,” will focus on Kenjaku vs Fumihiko Takaba. The previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen featured Iori Hazenoki being killed by Kenjaku in the Culling Game. The same chapter also featured Takaba entering the battle to face Kenjaku.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 will reveal the plan of Angel to ambush Kenjaku by sending Takaba to the battlefield. While the rest of the sorcerers felt this was a bad idea, Angel started explaining his technique that was supposed to be not known by anyone, however, the chapter did not reveal the entire discussion. Since Kenjaku is a strong opponent, it is hard to defeat him that easily unless he is taken off-guard along with Maki, so ultimately, Takaba is sent to the battlefield, the reason that wasn’t revealed until in the later half of the chapter.
The beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 was humorously lighthearted, but as the plot unfolded, more of Kenjaku’s savage side emerged. Kenjaku uses Geto’s centipede curse to attack him, but his cursed move is turned down. Takaba drapes an American flag bandana around Kenjaku and declares in English, “You can’t defeat me.” Kenjaku recognizes at this point that Takaba’s Cursed Technique appears to involve producing phenomena by aggressively realizing his imagination.

After Kenjaku learns that defeating Takaba through his ages of knowledge is impossible, even though there is always a weak place in the Cursed Techniques, the struggle continues, and the two of them soon find themselves playing another game called “You laugh, you lose.” Sadly, Kenjaku emerges victorious and begins punching Takaba. Takaba, on the other hand, did not lose hope and kept telling himself that he was funny until he unintentionally saw Hazenoki’s dead body. Kenjaku mocks him by urging him to laugh because he is Japan’s number one comic.
This creates a grave situation in Takaba’s mind, causing him to lose confidence and think about why he became a comedian.
