In the previous Chapter, we witnessed that a sorcerer possessed Tsumuki. She made a rule allowing free entry and exit in the culling game. Sukuna uses the opportunity to take over Yuji’s body, impart his curse into one of his fingers, and feed it to Megumi, who is still in shock. Soon Yuji regains consciousness to find out that Sukuna is taking over Megumi’s body. The Chapter ended there, and now we move to the next.

The Chapter starts from where it ended the last time. Sukuna in Megumi’s body. Sukuna uses Megumi’s body to unlead a barad of attacks on Yuji, leaving him severely wounded. The chaos is noticed by Takaba and Maki, who rush over there to help their juniors. The king of the curse refers to them as insects and summons Nue. Nue uses lightning attacks on both Maki and Tabaka and stalls them. During this chaos, Hana appears above Sukuna and the angel uses purifying light on Megumi’s possessed body.

Hana insists that it is Megumi; therefore, Angel gives her the option to use her curse technique to rip out Sukuna from Megumi. The method initially works and the marks on Megumi’s body disappear. Hana hugs Megumi. But in the next panel, we can see that the marks on Megumi’s back are intact, meaning that Sukuna still possessed Megumi. The chapter ends with Sukuna trying to devour Hana whole.

Sukuana was interested in Megumi’s Cursed technique, as seen in the previous chapters. Geto had pointed out to other demons that Sukuna is also interested in one of the other high school students apart from Yuji. The next chapter will let us know whether Megumi will survive the ordeal. Yuji can’t heal himself since Sukuna isn’t in his body anymore. Yuta is not present at the scene and is the only other Sorcessor capable of healing Yuji.
