American socialite and reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has kept all of Kanye West’s Yeezys. In the latest episode of The Kardashians which airs on Hulu, Kim took the viewers through her storage unit where she’s kept all of Kanye’s stuff.
Kim Kardashian’s Sentimental Decision to Keep Kanye’s Yeezys
In the latest episode of The Kardashians titled ‘Feel, Deal, Heal’, KKW beauty owner, Kim discussed her divorce with ex-husband Kanye West. A scene in the episode takes the viewers through the massive storage facility where Kim has kept all of Kanye West’s stuff from clothing line to Yeezys. She talks about how Kanye gave it all to her and asked her to burn it, however, Kim wanted to keep all the stuff for their children. Kim stated that it would be cool for her kids to grow up and look back at all of their father’s work and maybe put it to use in future.
“He tells me to burn his stuff. He’s like, ‘Who cares, burn it.’ I thought maybe the kids would think it was so cool, so I kind of kept everything for the kids.”
Looking back at her marriage with the rapper, she became emotional talking about their time together.
“There’s so many amazing things that came out of my marriage and my divorce…I’ve kept every single Yeezy.”
“It’s more than just shoes to me. They’re a part of our journey, our story. Every Yeezy has a memory attached, and I didn’t have the heart to let them go.”
Kim Kardashian also remarked that she is keeping all the stuff for her kids so that they can enjoy the memories they shared with their parents. She wants her kids to remember the good days as a family.
“The reality is, life is really different, and when you know it can never get back there, that’s what sucks, and that’s what’s hard. But my kids will have the best memories, and this will be the best tribute for them.”
In February 2023, Kim appeared on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, where she discussed co-parenting. She broke down while discussing how hard it is to co-parent and wants what’s best for her kids.
“I had the best dad. I don’t want to get emotional, but it’s just been a day for me. It’s hard. Co-parenting, it’s really fucking hard.”
“I had the best dad and the best experiences, and that is all I want for my kids. As long as they can have that, that is what I want for them.”
