The company has come out all guns blazing and wants to ensure that they bring forward their A+ game on this first episode on Fox. SmackDown on Fox: Huge Returns Planned – The Rock Confirmed!
Huge returns have been planned for this show – and one of the confirmed names is that of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He has arguably been the biggest WWE superstar to ever make a name for himself outside the company and is currently a global icon. In addition to The Rock, the likes of John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are also expected to make an appearance at the show.
Rumors have also been rampant that John Morrison is close on confirming a WWE deal and he might just make his return. Moreover, SmackDown on Fox will also feature Brock Lesnar’s first TV fight in over 15 years.

Will CM Punk Return to WWE at SmackDown’s Fox Debut?
Another big story has been around CM Punk’s WWE return. Reportedly he auditioned for a role as the presenter for WWE Backstage – a show that will air on FS1 after SmackDown’s broadcast comes to an end. It will be interesting to see if this really happens!
