Some of the biggest diseases ever seen have been wiped out by vaccines.

The first vaccine against a disease that could be spread was the smallpox vaccine. The World Health Organisation conducted a vaccine campaign to eradicate the disease.

There has been a rise in anti-vaxxers since the 1990s.

There was a link between the MMR vaccine and the disorder called Autism.

The most damaging medical hoax of the last 100 years came about as a result of the 1998 Lancet vaccine fraud.

The research paper titled Ileal-lymphoid-nodular hyperplasia, non-specific colitis, and pervasive developmental disorder in children, by Andrew Wakefield and several co-authors was published, supposing a link between the vaccine and the disorder.

The fraud was exposed in a lengthy Sunday Times article by reporter Brian Deer. It resulted in the paper’s retraction and the suspension of the doctor from the UK medical register.

The damage had been done nevertheless.

In March of last year, Forbes posted an article about how many people in Europe and the US were hesitant when it came to the Covid-19 vaccines.

What exactly is an anti-vaxxer?

An anti-vaxxer is a person who doesn’t like vaccinations.

There are people who believe that there are alternatives to vaccinations.

Many argue that the idea is naive and could put themselves, their children, and others in danger.

The argument for and against vaccines could go on and on.

When it comes to the Covid-19 vaccine, people have very strong opinions.

DJ Ferguson is against the Covid-19 vaccine.

Ferguson was refused a heart transplant because he refused to have the Covid-19 vaccine.

Ferguson won’t get a heart transplant until he gets a vaccine, according to CBS Boston.

He is in need of a heart transplant.

Ferguson was told by his family that he was at the front of the line to receive a transplant.

Ferguson isn’t eligible for a transplant because he hasn’t been vaccinated.

David Ferguson told the outlet that his son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and has been pushed to the limit.

“It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it,” David said. “It’s a policy they are enforcing and so, because he won’t get the shot, they took him off the list of a heart transplant.”

Ferguson’s family told the outlet that they are unsure about what to do, but have considered moving him.

David said they are “aggressively pursuing all options, but we are running out of time.”

The Covid-19 vaccine is required for a transplant, according to a statement released by the hospital.

“And like many other transplant programs in the United States – the COVID-19 vaccine is one of several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors required for transplant candidates in the Mass General Brigham system in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation,” the statement read, the outlet reports.

The Head of Medical Ethics at NYU, Dr. Arthur Caplan said that vaccines are necessary if your immune system is shut off.

“The flu could kill you, a cold could kill you, COVID could kill you,” he said, the outlet reports. “The organs are scarce, we are not going to distribute them to someone who has a poor chance of living when others who are vaccinated have a better chance post-surgery of surviving.”

Ferguson’s family told the outlet that they don’t agree with the policy as it is “his body” and “his choice.

“I think my boy is fighting pretty damn courageously and he has integrity and principles he really believes in and that makes me respect him all the more.”

What are your thoughts on the policy?
