    Conor McGregor Next Opponent

Conor McGregor is among the most popular yet the most controversial names in UFC. ‘The Notorious’ Irishman has been in the news yet again, but for all the wrong reasons, as he punched an elderly man recently. However, McGregor is all set to get back to action inside the Octagon soon and is expected to make his return sometime towards the end of 2019.

    Nate Diaz

Diaz vs McGregor III is the stuff of dreams. Both men have won one match against each other in the past, and are now expected to cement the final winner in a third match. This could become quite a real possibility if Diaz defeats Anthony Pettis at UFC 241.

However, the reverse of the above is also true. A loss for Diaz might just mean that he retires for good while the winner might get lucky enough to earn a challenge from Conor McGregor himself. McGregor vs Pettis isn’t really a match that people have been talking about – but it will be interesting to see for sure.

    Dustin Poirier

Dustin Poirier vs Khabib Nurmagomedov is the main event of UFC 242 where the winner will become the unified UFC Lightweight Champion. Could this mean that if Poirier wins, McGregor will challenge him for the title he claims is his?

    Khabib Nurmagomedov

However, while there are a number of opponents, there’s perhaps no man that Conor McGregor wants to face more than Khabib Nurmagomedov. The match itself was a humiliating loss for the Irishman but the after-events and the penalities have made it even worse. McGregor vs Khabib II is indeed on the cards – we just don’t know when!

    Justin Gaethje

Gaethje has been another major name who has been voicing his claim at facing Conor McGregor. However, he isn’t anywhere in the picture now but it will be interesting to see if Conor accepts his challenge!
