Social media has gone wild over Margot Robbie. Twitter melted down with the premiere of the new “Barbie” film trailer that showcased its star-studded cast. However, there was one unusual thing that got everyone excited- Margot Robbie’s feet.
New Barbie Trailer Just Dropped
Barbie’s official teaser trailer was released at the start of April and has received 19 million views on the official Warner Bros YouTube channel.
The teaser begins with a shot of Robbie’s legs walking down a bright pink hallway in sparkly, furry high heels. Robbie then slips out of the heels and enters relevé, where her toes are on the floor while her heels remain in the air — an ode to the way the Mattel doll’s feet are designed.
Twitter reacts to Margot Robbie’s feet in Barbie
The trailer footage immediately went viral on Twitter, with many people expressing they were more inclined to see the film just to get a better peek.
One user tweeted an image of Margot Robbie’s feet saying,

Another user commented saying that Robbie’s feet convinced them to buy a ticket to watch the movie. They said,

Meanwhile, another responded saying that they have never seen anything more perfect than Margot’s feet.
Some Twitter users praised Robbie saying she was perfect for the role. Another user commented that the Australian star should be a foot model, similar to when George Costanza was working as a hand model.
This is not the first time Robbie’s feet have been featured on the silver screen.

Some Twitter users argued that Robbie’s viral feet shot in the Barbie trailer is a nod to the famed director Quentin Tarantino, who cast Robbie in his 2019 film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and who has long been rumored to have a foot fetish.

defended his close-up shots of bare feet by saying he was not the only moviemaker to do it. He explained telling GQ,
“There’s a lot of feet in a lot of good directors’ movies. Before me, the person foot fetishism was defined by was Luis Buñuel, another film director. And Hitchcock was accused of it and Sofia Coppola has been accused of it.”
