According to the source that predicted iPad Mini 5, a new Apple iPad 2019 is in works. Apple’s iPad series consists of some of the best tablets in the market and Apple iPad 9.7 inch has strong offering till date.
Apple iPad 2019 Design
Apple junked headphone jack on 2018 iPad Pro, fuelling rumours that it could also happen with the cheaper offering of iPad lineup.
However, according to sources of Macotakara blog, the next iteration will feature the 3.5mm headphone jack and sport a Touch ID.
The previous report suggested that iPad will have a thinner footprint but if the rumours about Touch ID and headphone jack are true then hopefully there will be no change in the design.
A report also claimed that Apple is hunting for more cheaper LED display manufactures of South Korea.
Apple iPad 2019 Hardware
Due to the low-cost nature the iPad generally left behind in hardware but this years iPad could feature the A11 Bionic processor.
Wishlist of Users
- Apple iPad 2019 should feature a better display panel, currently the 2017 and 2018 iPad model shipped with the LCD panel. At least the iPad 2019 can sport a Liquid Retina LCD tech.
- The newer iteration of the iPad should have an improved camera. Other than taking pictures of document phots people still like to take photos of themselves.
- We hope iPad 2019 should come with the newer and better Apple Pencil 2.
- iPad 2018 had good speakers but if Apple is able to improve upon them then it would turn the device into a media consumption station.
- We hope that Apple will not junk the Touch ID in favour of slimmer design and the newer version will ship with Touch ID.
- More colours to choose from.
Expected Pricing
Since the basic iPad line is targeted toward low budget spectrum we hope that Apple will continue to offer the device under $400.
Also there is no clear indication about the launch date of the iPad.
