What is the series about?
The production’s main character is 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson, who comes from one of the most powerful families of vampires, werewolves, and witches. Set at the Salvatore boarding school for the young and gifted, Legacies tells the ongoing story of a new generation of supernatural students. There they learn what it means to be unique in a society that does not understand their talents.
Will Legacies Season 5 be released?
Julie Plec explains they already have an idea for the next season and need to start working on it and putting it on paper.
– There will be another season. We’re a little sad, so we’re going to put it on hold for a while, but yes: there are more ideas. There’s more to do in this universe.
“We would have been in a time-jump scenario. I think the fun of the fifth season would be to really take those characters, who had reached such a good place in the school, and then move them beyond it and throw them in lives beyond it and seeing where they were and how they would all find their way back to one another.”
The creator did not reveal any information about their idea, so at the moment, nothing is known about a potential spin-off. Legacies is one of the many canceled series because, as every year in May, television channels make decisions related to the autumn schedule. So they order new products and delete things that have to end for various reasons.
We can believe that season 5 will be released from her words, but the real question is, when? We can’t answer that yet.
