Legendary British singer, Elton John was reportedly admitted to a hospital in France after he suffered a fall at his home in Nice, France. The Rocket Man singer was taken to Princess Grace Hospital where he was treated at the orthopedic department.

What Happened To Elton John?
The iconic singer was hospitalized after suffering a minor fall injury on August 27, 2023. It is reported that the I’m Still Standing singer slipped while he was at his villa in Southern France. He was immediately taken to Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco as a precautionary measure. The 76-year-old singer was treated at the orthopedic center of the hospital.
Elton John‘s spokesperson informed BBC that the singer was back home safe after a minor treatment.
“We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
The singer was immediately discharged and was back home after a successful precautionary treatment. John recently wrapped up the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in early July. He and his husband have been spending the summer on the French Riviera with their two children.
Elton John’s residence is situated in the hills of Mount Boron, Castel Mont-Alban, and is valued at about 15 million Euros. According to Architectural Digest, the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road artist refers to the 1920s residence as either “the summer house” or the “Yellow Palace.”

The iconic singer recently wrapped up his Farewell Tour in July 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden. The tour lasted for a full five years and included 330 performances. While closing his last set he spoke with the audience members reflecting on his career.
“I’ve had the most wonderful career, beyond belief. Fifty-two years of pure joy playing music. How lucky am I to play music?”
He also added,
“But, ya know, I wouldn’t be sitting here and talking to you if it wasn’t for you. You bought the singles, the albums, the CDs, the cassettes, but more importantly, you bought the tickets to the shows, and you know how I love to play live.”
Elton John’s tour had come to a close on July 10th, 2023 and he shared a post on Instagram to commemorate it. He commented on the unexpected obstacles, including Covid 19, that he had faced throughout his journey, saying that he “couldn’t have imagined the twists and turns and the highs and lows”. He further added,
“I’m trying to process it and I don’t think it will sink in for a while yet that I’m finally finished touring. I can’t tell you how much I’m going to miss you all and how much your support has humbled me – it will stay with me forever,”
He thanked his fans for the constant love and support he has received from them throughout the years.

Elton John’s husband David also shared how it is hard on their kids to stay away from their father for so long when he’s on tour.
