The Sims 5 is in development for a long time but nothing has been officially confirmed about the life simulation game so far. However, it doesn’t mean that EA and Maxis won’t come out with the next installment of their best selling game. The Sims 5 will come out for sure as millions of gamers are waiting for the modern age Sims game. Here is the wishlist for ‘The Sims 5’ gameplay features that fans want in the next-generation life simulation game.
The Sims 5 Gameplay Wishlist
The Sims 5 could bring back the the famous feature of massive multiplayer online (MMO) from one of the previous Sims game. EA CEO Andrew Wilson recently spoke about the future of ‘The Sims’ series and the new updates for the next-generation gamers. Wilson confirmed that the fan favorite feature from 2002 game ‘The Sims Onlne’ will be revived and fans are expecting it to be adapted for gameplay of ‘The Sims 5’ title.

There are also possibilities that the upcoming game will be more inspired from real life and bring more features from “Tiny Living” pack introduced in TS4. The expansion pack will most likely be continued in ‘The Sims 5’ as the real-life trends are getting popular.
The Sims 5 Development and Release Date
The Sims 5 release date is rumored to be set in 2021 but that will only happen if EA announces the game this year. There are chances that EA and Maxis releases a brand new trailer at EA Play 2020 along with a specific launch date. Wilson’s statement at the Q3 2020 earnings call interview hints that ‘The Sims 5’ is in development. It makes sense given games of such high scale are in development for years and hopefully, TS5 will come out very soon.
