The Sims 5 2020 release date possibility now looks less probable as EA and Maxis have not announced any plans for the game and 2019 has ended. Fans are losing hope that the next Sims game will come out in 2020 as more expansion packs are coming up for ‘The Sims 4’ gameplay. It means ‘The Sims 5’ release date is once again delayed and fans of this real-life simulation game series would have to wait for some more time.

The Sims 4 Expansion Packs 2020 Schedule
There is no official announcement from EA-Maxis developers about ‘The Sims 5’ game and the release date window has been shifting forward with each month. The only hint or clue about the future game is based on updates and new content for ‘The Sims 4’ game. While the game developers have maintained a total silence on TS5, they have plenty of content planned for TS4. EA has revealed that TS$ is still one of their best-earning IPs at the Q1 fiscal year 2020 earnings meeting.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson has also said that FY 2020 will be their biggest year in terms of content. Maxis developers Dave Miotke and Michael Duke hinted on a lot of expansion packs planned for ‘The Sims 4’ at the Maxis Monthly stream. There will be a lot of surprises and unexpected twists and turns and it will be a lot of fun for the gamers. The avid fans of ‘The Sims’ game series will be surprised as an all-new expansion pack will be joining the life simulation video game series in 2020.
The Sims 5 2020 Release Date Possible?
The Sims 5 release date depends on the new content and expansion pack for ‘The Sims 4’ and what time they are done with the new updates. If the expansion packs are launched soon, EA and Maxis could also announce about ‘The Sims 5’ game with a full trailer in the EA Play E3 2020 conference.
But it will still mean that there are almost zero chances for The Sims 5 to release before the end of 2020 and in the meantime, fans should enjoy the Sims 4 upcoming expansion packs.
