The Mountain from Game of Thrones deadlifts 501kg, breaks world record

We know that you are probably amazed after reading the headline. Hafthor Bjornsson has once again proved his strength by breaking the deadlift record of the world. The Mountain from Game of Thrones lifted 501 kg weight in his home in Iceland and astonished everyone.

We know that all the fans of The Mountain are rejoicing right now. But at the same time, we also have a question in our mind that how did Bjornsson succeed in doing this? The six-foot-nine Hafthor has always focussed more on his health. And, prior to this, he has made several records. In 2018, he earned the title of “World’s strongest man”. And looks like, he is busy creating more records in his name. Also, last year he explained how he gained his huge muscle size. That was because of consuming 10,000 calories a day.

The sports broadcaster, ESPN streamed the video of Bjornsson breaking the record. In the video, The Mountain from GoT can be seen lifting the barbell for two seconds. And after breaking the deadlift record, he roared in delight. Also, in the behind the scenes video, Bjornsson expressed his happiness and felt proud for what he did. He also added that it is all because of the support that he has. He also emphasized on staying healthy. He told that diet is one important aspect that is a must to ensure the win in such competitions.

Before this, Eddie Hall held the record of lifting heaviest deadlift of 500kg. But, now The Mountain has registered this record in his name.
