The sales for the first quarter of 2019 have been great for Tesla. This is despite the company missing the estimates.
About 60 percent of the sales of EV is of Tesla Model 3. Moreover, about 8 percent is of Model S. 7 percent more captured by Model X of Tesla.
Therefore Tesla owns 75 percent of the share. This is after combining the sales of these 3 top models.
In quarter one of 2018, the market cap of Tesla was 67 percent. However, in 2019 it has risen to 75 percent. That is 8 percent more than the previous year.

Tesla managed to capture almost 75 percent of the sales. However, there are other models as well who have an impressive capture.
At the second place is Chevy Bolt. This model has almost 11 percent of the sales in quarter one.
Apart from this, at the second place is LEAF of Nissan. The sales of LEAF was 7 percent of the total.
