Do you remember the first animal you had? It could have been a cat, a dog, or even a goldfish. When we were kids, we were very close to our pets, and we think that’s true for most pet owners.
Betsy is no different. Since she was in the third grade, she has had a chihuahua named Cupid as a pet. Betsy is now in college, but her apartment allows pets, so she was able to bring Cupid with her.
Betsy went one step further than other pet owners, who buy beds for their dogs or even let them sleep with them in their own beds.
Betsy’s apartment had a door that wasn’t being used, but she didn’t leave it that way for long. She came up with a clever and very cute way to use it. She made it a room for Cupid.
Even though the closet looks small, it’s big enough for a chihuahua. Betsy didn’t buy a dog bed for Cupid. She used an old doll bed instead, and Cupid seems to be happy with it.
Since Cupid’s room is a closet, it makes sense that all of his clothes are also in the closet, hung up neatly on one side.
Did you notice in the pictures how Betsy made Cupid’s room feel more like home? “Live Love Woof” is written on a cute wall hanging that he has. Over his bed is a plaque with his name on it. Even the floor has a rug on it.
Betsy didn’t forget Cupid’s room when it was time to decorate for Christmas. He even has his own Christmas tree with ornaments and a star on top.
The only thing that could be bad about this bedroom is that Cupid has to share it. Yes, he does. He lives with someone else. See, Betsy also has a turtle named Caru that she keeps as a pet.
Caru is in a tank on a shelf, so we don’t think the two pets see each other very often. Cupid might think that Caru is his turtle.
The cutest thing we’ve seen all day is this closet-turned-dog bedroom. We don’t have a closet that’s empty right now, but we might have to clean one out so we can make a dog bedroom like this one.
Where do your pets sleep if you have them? Would you ever think about making them a bedroom like Betsy did?
