Finally, the never-ending wait of fans has finally come to an end, as their beloved Shrek 5 is releasing soon.
New beginning under new management
The new chapter of Shrek is being produced under the new management. The creators have assigned a new writer with the task of writing for a new beginning.
For the fifth installment, the creators were eyeing for fresh ideas for the animated film’s script and screenplay.
Michael McCullers, the writer of Austin Power films, was hired as a writer for Shrek 5.
Shrek 5 will be good turnout: Mike Mitchell
The Director of Shrek Forever After, Mike Mitchell, approved of Michael McCullers’ writing and storytelling. He agreed that Michael McCullers is a good match for the renewal of the movie.
Mike Mitchell confirmed Michael McCullers in the team Shrek 5. He also expressed high output expectations from Michael McCullers.
In total agreement, Mike Mitchell reported that the movie would be a good turnout and said:
“They’ve got a pretty good story and it’s being written by Michael McCullers who wrote all of the ‘Austin Powers’ films, He came up with a really great idea that they’re exploring.”
Creator reveals an interesting plot
Chris Meledandri, the creator of Shrek 5, revealed that the storyline of the fifth installment is fascinating. Fans are assumed to enjoy the ride.
Talking about the actors and voice-overs, creator Chris Meledandri said:
“When you look back on those vocal performances they’re awesome, and while you certainly could make a case for a complete reinvention, I find myself responding to my own nostalgic feelings of wanting to go back to those characterizations.”
Producers explained that youngsters would relate to the upgrade story plot, and the movie would be fun to watch. Further details on upgrading the plot were not revealed.
The reboot of Shrek is finally renewing 10 years after the release of the fourth installment.
Shrek 5 is expected to release in early 2020. However, no official announcement is released regarding a premiere date.
