Pets Bringing Special Offerings For Their Humans (19 Pics)

Imagine it’s a nice cozy day and you are just sitting on your couch. A few minutes later and out of nowhere, your furry friend brings something totally weird for you. OMG! This is one of the best moments in a pet parent’s life. And why should it not be? After all, our pets can’t verbally communicate with us but they can definitely show how much they love us simply by giving us the most random things.

The most amazing thing about these gifts bought by our pets is that they are so special and bigger than they seem. When our little furry angels are bringing these gifts for us, all they want is to see us happy because they love us so much.

If you have a cute pet who brings gifts, you are the luckiest person. But if you don’t have a pet, scroll down to see how adorable these little angels wrapped in fur looks when they bring something special for their pet parents. And who knows you might end up getting a pet for you. (We are not joking.)

“This is Zoey’s pillow. If she likes you, she’ll bring you the pillow. You can’t touch it, but you can look.”

“My dog always brings a shoe whenever I get home.”

“Our cat won’t stop bringing home sponges!”

“Pupper has been bringing us eggs every day that she steals from the wild chickens.”

“The neighbor’s cat brings me jalapeños from my garden. He’s so proud, good kitty.”

“Today is my birthday. I woke from a nap to a potato my boy had brought me. Thank you Archer for the lovely present.”

Yes, of course, pets look super cute when they bring random gifts for us. But they are not doing it to look adorable.

It has been found that the gift carrying behavior of animals is related to their previous hunting habits. Long, long ago before domestication, dogs and cats used to live all on their own and would regularly hunt for food. Once they find the food, they will bring it for their families to eat together.

Even though pets have domesticated today, they like carrying things in their mouth and bringing it for their family. And since you are your pets’ world, you get the gift. Yay! So now you know why your pet carries gifts in its mouth.

“My dog likes to greet me by bringing me stuff from inside the house. We don’t know why he does it, but so far he has brought me garden scissors, a basket, and many forks and spoons.”

“Some cats bring their humans birds and mice…Oliver brings me teabags.”

“This is our cat, Dingle. He loves to move around bras and underwear around the whole house. Sometimes he will roll into the room like this while we are having guests.”

“My dog, Aspen always grabs things out of the pantry and brings them to us with this face.”

“My cat has a cleft palate. It helps her to hold onto straws she’s brought back from the hunt. She looks so proud.”

“My dog brings me things out of my toolbox randomly hoping it’ll be something I need. Sometimes, it works.”

“I’m going to bring my owner a newspaper, owners love newspapers.”

“My dog brought me some dirt today.”

“He brought me a…tomato?!”

“My cat brought me a rock. She is an indoor cat. I do not know where she got the rock.”
