WhatsApp is so popular, that it is found in Androids, iPhone, Windows phones and recently on PC browsers too. Taken over by social media giant Facebook 5 years ago, it has been improved a lot.
Recent leaks suggest that WhatsApp has a major update soon to be released. While many users were expecting it to be the dark mode feature, it is entirely something else.
What is the new WhatsApp Update?
While WhatsApp supports the majority of platforms, surprisingly the large screen Apple users have never used it in its original form. iPad has never supported WhatsApp till now, but it is about to change.
There are reports coming that WhatsApp for iPad is in development and will soon be available to Apple users. Until now, the only way to use WhatsApp on the iPad was to have WhatsApp Web, which was not much feasible.
WhatsApp in the iPad will be a bit different compared to other phones. The extra screen space will be utilized and recent chats will be on side tabs. Also while browsing settings, the chat window won’t have to be closed.

WABetaInfo, a popular WhatsApp curator announced on Twitter that for official WhatsApp for iPad is under development. The user even shared screenshots about how the App will look on Apple iPad.
Many fans were disappointed about having no updates on the release of the dark mode feature. While WhatsApp for iPad will be arriving soon, the dark mode fans might have to wait for some more time.

Reports also suggest that some more features will be added in a new WhatsApp update. Users can now send up to 30 audio files at once, with a new selection interface along with album arts.
