Porter Jr. has been accused of assaulting his girlfriend and has been confirmed with the assault charges. Kevin appeared in a total of 59 games in the last season for the Rockets.

Kevin Porter Jr. averaged around 19.2 points, 5.7 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Rockets. He scored around 44.2% of the shots from the field, 36.6% of the shots from beyond the arc, and 78.4% of the shots from the free throw line.
