One NBA team that is looking forward to making major changes to their roster before the NBA 2023 trade deadline is the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are blowing up their roster by trading off players like DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Alex Caruso.
But before moving DeRozan and Caruso, the Bulls want to move the 2-time NBA all-star, Zach LaVine, as revealed by an NBA Insider. Here is the complete intel by the insider!
Could the Chicago Bulls Move Zach LaVine to the Philadelphia Sixers Before the Trade Deadline?
KC Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago has revealed that the Bulls are eager for a Zach LaVine trade deal. The Chicago Bulls’ vice president, Arturas Karnisovas, has revealed that he is going to trade LaVine first to see what the roster looks like and then will pursue other trade deals.
KC Johnson wrote:
“Only Zach LaVine and Coby White remain from the roster Karnišovas inherited, and trading LaVine is the main organizational focal point for now.”
“In fact, league sources said that, at least for now, Karnišovas is responding to inquiries on other players by saying he wants to see what the roster looks like post-LaVine trade first.”

Zach LaVine has a list of preferred trade destinations, which includes NBA teams: the Philadelphia 76ers, the Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings, and the San Antonio Spurs.
Out of all these NBA teams, the Philadelphia 76ers are emerging as the frontrunners to pursue a Zach LaVine trade deal with the Chicago Bulls. Philly has enough assets to trade for LaVine.
The Philadelphia Sixers have many players on their roster with an expiring contract. They could flip those players alongside some future picks to acquire Zach LaVine from the Bulls.
Zach LaVine Trade to the Philadelphia 76ers on the Move
Zach LaVine is just 28 years old, and he is surely going to improve the Philadelphia Sixers’ roster.
The 2-time All-Star player is averaging around 21 points in the current season while having a shooting average of 44.3%.
The Bulls would soon blow up their roster as they are not looking good with a record of 5-14 in the current season. They are sitting at 13th place in the Eastern Conference, which is disappointing for them.
Zach LaVine has expressed his disappointment with the Bulls. He said:
“This team has had enough conversations.”
“We gotta get results. … You go out there and play, man. You got a lot of season left. You don’t play the scoreboard. You look at the standings, obviously. But you try to win every game you step into and that’s what we’re going to try to do.”
