NBA Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut has been a key member of the Golden State Warriors who left the team due to his prior commitments. Bogut currently plays for the team of Sydney Kings in NBL, which is the Australian version of NBA. Steve Kerr, the head coach was always fond of Bogut since his 2012-2016 years with the Warriors.

Team Australia defeated Team USA in the recent basketball world cup exhibition matches and Bogut played an important role in the Aussie side. The Warriors are kind of shallow right now with losing out most of their key players and could use Andrew in their team. Even Steve Kerr has expressed interest in Bogut and would love to have back for the NBA 2019-20 season.

Even though the Warriors lost the 2019 NBA finals to the Toronto Raptors, the team did a good job. Steve Kerr was impressed with Bogut’s performance in the finals and now want him back. Kerr was all praise for Bogut and gave him the ultimate compliment of basketball.

[blockquote footer=”Steve Kerr on Andrew Bogut”]He is one of the best passing big men who has ever lived. What he did in the match against the Team USA didn’t surprise me as I always knew his talent. There seems to be new energy inside him. Andrew is getting better with time and he has improved a lot of things.[/blockquote]

Bogut can help the Warriors

NBA Bogut in Warriors

Golden State Warriors lost almost of their star players in the free agency and is kind of broken now. Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins, DeAndre Jordan, Andre Iguodala, etc. have left the Dubs side and they need someone to fill the gap. Andre Bogut will play in Australia during the October NBL tournament and he will be free to return in NBA after that.

Warriors and Sydney Kings can reach on an agreement where both the teams can use Bogut in sync. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, D’Angelo Russell and Andre Bogut could surely make the Warriors another champion team.
