Why Do the Minnesota Timberwolves Want to Trade Towns?
The Wolves do not own a lot of precious assets. So, they can’t do a rebuild. Arranging their team with the available roster won’t be difficult, especially with Anthony Edwards on board.
They will receive Paul George, who fits well on their roster. They could pair him with Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels to create a dynamic defense.
By trading Karl-Anthony Towns in this deal, the Wolves will also gain a first-round pick, making it an ideal trade for Minnesota. But could the Clippers acquire Towns from the Wolves?
