Sometimes, NBA teams don’t offer the deserved price to a player, while sometimes they offer a good value. Take Jerami Grant of the Portland Trail Blazers, for example.
Grant has a complicated contract with the Blazers. The veteran is worth the annual salary in a vacuum. The Blazers wouldn’t have signed Grant if Damian Lillard could stay with them.

Could the Blazers Send Grant to the Knicks?
The Blazers are currently rebuilding their roster. They won’t pay a player to not play a game. Jerami Grant could be traded to the Knicks as the Blazers require assets to trade for young and potential players in the free agency trade next summer.
This trade deal could help the Blazers acquire quality players since they will receive an unprotected lottery pick in this deal. But could the Knicks acquire Grant?
