As per the reports, LaMelo will receive a 6-figure contract salary just for playing a single season. The other perks include an apartment, car, traveling, and training. LaMelo thinks that NBL is the perfect way to reach the NBA and get a top spot for the next year trade deals.

I just think that currently, it is the best route for me. I’m trying hard and training enough to be the No. 1 overall pick up for the 2020 draft.
