Microsoft Surface Go 2 release date is not far away and it will come with a hardware refresh and several interesting upgrades. There are new details leaked about the Surface Go 2 along with other Microsoft products hinting they will feature the latest processors. But the biggest change in the new Surface Go 2 laptop is the ease of service and repair, which was a big problem in the previous models. Here is more information on Microsoft Surface Go 2 launch date, specs, new features and other updates.
Microsoft Surface Go 2 New Updates and Ease of Service
The Surface Go 2 will come in two different configurations as reported by 3DMark, a web-based benchmarking site. Microsoft is planning to introduce two new models of the Surface Go 2 having Intel Pentium 4425Y and Intel Core M3-8100Y as the processor. While the hardware upgrades are not that powerful, the Surface Go is basically a Windows-OS based tablet that can perform some light laptop functions also.

The biggest problem in the first Surface Go was that it has to sent back to the service repair center in case of the tiniest problems. But the new Surface Go 2 will have modular components so that the company’s IT department can easily troubleshoot the tablet-laptop combo and even fix the serviceable parts. It is why Microsoft Surface Go 2 is presented as a reliable platform for business work.
Microsoft Surface Go 2 Release Date and Other Products
Microsoft has planned to launch a series of brand new products this year and it ranges from laptops to foldable mobile phones. Apart from the Surface Go 2 and Surface Book 3, Microsoft is planning to release two new products, Surface Neo and Surface Duo. There is no specific date announced for the launch event by Microsoft as it could get delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown. However, Microsoft might most likely host an online event and release the Surface Go 2 around May 2020.
