While everyone thought that Lucifer will die at the end of next season, Netflix is planning to renew the show for season 6, meaning Tom Ellis will be safe as no one can kill the devil. The next possible character death could happen for Chloe Decker as there are always dangers when you love the devil.
Lucifer Season 5 theories are predicting the death of Chloe and the recently leaked set picture kind of confirms the same. Lucifer and Amenadiel are seen standing outside a cemetery mourning over the death of someone, and it could be our beloved Detective Chloe Decker.

Lucifer Season 5 set photo shows Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel) shooting a scene at night in the cemetery. Due to the darkness, it is hard to figure out the expressions of the two brothers. But most of the fans are thinking that Chloe (Lauren German) dies in the fifth season of Lucifer and they are mourning her death.

It also goes with the fact that CSI Ella Lopez played by Aimee Garcia was seen crying with her down in one of her Instagram pictures. Fans believe that the cemetery set picture belongs to Lucifer Season 5 Episode 14 titled “Nothing Lasts Forever” and it hints Chloe’s death.
Other Possible Deaths in Lucifer Season 5
Lucifer Season 5 will be bold but not so bold that they kill Lucy’s love interest Chloe and left him broken. Fans will riot if anything happens to Chloe and given Lucifer Season 6 has been almost confirmed, the makers might not kill a pivotal character at this point.
Dan (Kevin Alejandro) or Trixie (Scarlet Estevez) could also die in Lucifer Season 5 as it has been hinted several times before. There are also chances its just a regular death where Lucifer and Amenadiel are gathering evidence as part of their detective work. Lucifer Season 5 will release date has not been announced but it will premiere in Summer 2020 on Netflix.
