In the end, it was decided that the fifth season of Lucifer will have a total of 16 episodes. Further, it was also reported that Netflix will release Lucifer’s 5th season in two batches of 8-episodes each.

It was speculated that there will be a gap of around a month or two between the two parts of the next Lucifer installment. Earlier, it was expected that Lucifer Season 5 would release somewhere around May or June but the Coronavirus pandemic has changed the whole schedule now.
