The hype around Lucifer season 4 has been quite high after Netflix became the show’s messiah. Fox Network had cancelled the show after three seasons. The fans have been eagerly waiting for a release date and this poster might just have answered their prayers.
The poster shows Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) face half in light and half covered in darkness with two horns on his head. The introduction of the horns has caused much amusement to the fans since Ellis had confessed that he did not like them.
After the release of the poster, fans on Twitter took to the social networking site to express their excitement. One user tweeted,
“I have never seen this before. There is HUGE chance that this will be the fourth season promotional poster.”
Will the upcoming season have a romantic plot?
No other details have been revealed yet but we know that the romantic angle will be crucial to the plot of Lucifer season 4. Tom Ellis did an interview with Entertainment Weekly where he teased a few details from the upcoming season.
He said, “I think Chloe (Lauren German) and Lucifer’s relationship is the show’s heartbeat.”
And it’s not just their romance which will be the focus of this season. Apparently, Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt) is also expected to finally find love. Will it be Amenadiel or someone else?
Lesley said that Maze falls in love in Lucifer season 4. In the previous season, it was more about how you can be let down in relationships and friendships but then eventually makeup. So, the fans can expect to see a new side of their characters.
