If you need a recap of what has happened in Jujutsu Kaisen so far, Yuji and his friends defeated the Cursed Wombs Eso and Kechizu and reunited with Megumi. However, Sukuna, the cursed spirit possessing Yuji, consumed another finger, bringing him one step closer to regaining his full power. In the upcoming season, viewers can expect to see the encroaching evil of Sukuna, as well as the third Cursed Womb triplet, Choso, teaming up with the series’ villains Geto and Mahito. Additionally, a mole within Jujutsu High will be revealed, with teacher Utahime on the hunt for the treacherous sorcerer. This will be a significant part of the next season.

To set up the upcoming season, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Maki, and Panda are recommended for promotion to Grade 1 Sorcerers. Gojo also invites them to participate in a new mission, which will likely play a significant role in the next season’s events.

We would like to leverage that success for season 2, but we are not going to be doing the same thing and repeat ourselves. To the fans of the series, I would like to show even greater success and bigger growth in season 2.”
