The CEO of Nissan Motors, Carlos Ghosn was arrested on Monday and is expected to face a punishment of 10 years on imprisonment or a ¥10 million fine or even both, for the wrong doings.

On Thursday, the board of the Nissan Motor has voted to oust the CEO of the company, Carlos Ghosn from his post of the chairman of the company in the wake of his arrest this very week.
According to the news reported by the Asahi newspaper on Friday, the prosecutors of Japan are more than willing to build a criminal case against him.
This would be in order to understate the remunerations for the three years from 2015. The remuneration will be by 3 billion yen which amounts to $27 million.
According to the newspaper, the CEO has understated his remuneration by about 8 billion yen in the 8 years of service to Nissan. The paper however did not cite any sources.
The paper also did not mention that whether there would be any other new case targeting Kelly. The two were arrested and were then dismissed from their positions this week.
Asahi stated that Ghosn will become liable for re-arrest after this new case.
As Ghosn and Kelly are still in arrest the two have not been able to defend themselves from the public allegations.
The company stated on Monday that an internal investigation which was triggered by an informant’s tip off had led to the revelation that the CEO, Ghosn was engaged in this wrongdoing.
