Heavenly Delusion Anime Storyline
In the outside world, 15 years have passed since an unprecedented disaster, that completely destroyed modern civilization. A group of children live in a facility isolated from the outside world.
One day, one of them, a girl named Tokio, receives a message that says “Do you want to go outside?” Mimihime, another girl who lives in the same facility, has a prediction and tells the upset Tokio that two people will come from the outside to save her, one of whom has her same face, while the director of the school tells her that the outside world is hell.
Meanwhile, a boy named Maru, who looks just like Tokio, is traveling through this devastated Japan with a girl named Kiruko, in search of heaven.
Recap of Previous Episodes of Heavenly Delusion
In the previous episodes of Heavenly Delusion, we saw how the robots are working to conduct tests on the students. However, after the robots conducted a few tests, it was seen that the facility got attacked by outsiders, and everyone had to run from the facility. In the meantime, an old-time friend comes to meet Kiruko, who was lost a few years back.
In episode 12, many loose ends connect together, which helps the fans understand the many previous plots. But the story takes an exciting turn at the last minute when no one expected.
Episode 12 showcases sexual assault in the last few minutes, which is disturbing and may not be for everyone. Kiruko raises different questions about his own identity, which makes the character more relatable.
