Renewed Or Cancelled?

Sky High, the Spanish heist movie that premiered in 2020, gained much attention due to its plot, which revolves around a group of young hackers who plan to steal millions of euros from a corrupt business person. The show, which essentially takes the core ideas from the movie and spreads them out across an entire series, has been a hit with viewers since it was made available to stream on March 17th.

Sky High Season 1 continues where the movie left off, following Sole as she grieves the death of Angel and tries to take over his smash-and-grab heist crew. Along the way, she clashes with new crew member Fernan, an undercover double agent for Duque, the police officer from the movie.

At the time of writing, Sky High has not been renewed for a second season. However, given the show’s content, it could change if it does good numbers for Netflix. The completion rate is one of the most critical metrics for renewing a show, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.

What we know about Season 2 so far

Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix has not green-lit a sequel. If renewed, expect emotional arcs to be explored in the next installment. We still don’t know whether Rogelio will accept Marta, and we’re also uncertain about what will happen to Fernan now that he has abandoned his secret mission to be with Sole.

In addition, since Sole has learned that her father was the one who sent Fernan to Estrella, it remains to be seen whether she will be able to face him and forgive him. The story has much more to explore, and even the creators have expressed their desire to continue it.

Predictions for Season 2

Given how this show is set up, we predict it will be renewed for a second season. The show has a lot of promise, and the ending certainly looks set to increase the stakes. There are still a lot of loose ends, and season 1 did not conclude definitively.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but we’ll update this page when more information is known. Sky High Season 1 was a hit with critics and audiences, and we have high hopes for the show’s future.
