Better Call Saul is a prequel based on the popular crime drama “Breaking Bad.” It is being reported that season 6 is probably going to be the final installment of the series.
If the above news happens to be true, the main franchise is likely to wrap up the entire series in the year 2021.
Better Call Saul season 5 is still under production
Interestingly, Better Call Saul season 5 is unlikely to come out until 2020 as the prequel series is still under production.
The theory of Better Call Saul season 6 is the final installment of the franchise was brewed after an interview with Giancarlo Esposito.
The recent interview with Giancarlo Esposito, aka Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul sparked the speculations.

Because Better Call Saul is a prequel series to Breaking bad, it won’t be difficult for fans to anticipate the nearing end.
Talking about the Better Call Saul progress in the coming years, Giancarlo Esposito told Collider:
“Better Call Saul” season 6 feels like a good time to wrap up their story. There will be six seasons. It seems like that’s the way, the comfortable way, to end this show.”
He further revealed that co-creator Vince Gilligan had planned the original series to run till five seasons only. However, Better Call Saul season 5 premiered in 2013, was released in two parts with the highest number of episodes in total.
Better Call Saul season 6 producers are yet to finalize the future
Better Call Saul season 6 will begin with Jimmy McGill embracing his identity of being a Saul Goodman.

Although AMC network has neither confirmed nor dismissed Better Call Saul season 6, sources revealed that the producers hadn’t taken a call about future of the series.
