Game of Thrones Season 8 is just 10 days away and a lot of images have been leaked recently. And one fan theory might have been confirmed. Most of these leaked photos were from the first and second episodes of Game of Thrones Season 8.
And it seems that Daenerys Targaryen is with a child. And the father is obviously Jon Snow.
Will Daenerys be pregnant in Game of Thrones Season 8?
It was a surprise for all of us when Winterfell was offered to Daenerys by Sansa. And she looks quite settled there. But, she might be hiding a secret. Because she might be pregnant with Jon’s child after all.
In one of the images, she can be seen standing next to Jorah Mormont with her hands over her belly. Also, Dany can be seen wearing a white fur coat in a lot of images, which might be used to cover her baby bump.
Daenerys was pregnant way back in season one with her husband, Khal Drogo’s child. But, she lost both her child and her husband and ultimately gave birth to her three dragons. She named them Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal.
And after that it was known that she could not bear any children. She even confirmed this information to Jon Snow on the boat that the dragons are her only children.
What will happen if a baby is born?
But, the Targaryen dynasty has been breeding among themselves for generations now. And this might be the reason for Daenerys’ pregnancy. If you remember, Jon is half Targaryen now. Also, if Daenerys and Jon Snow had a child, it would be a powerful one.
Bran Stark and Samwell Tarly had found out that Jon was the rightful heir to the Iron Throne in the season seven finale. And with the baby, the Targaryen lineage would be continued.
Recently, HBO had released a few promos of Game of Thrones Season 8 which revealed many new scenes as well. There were many shots which showed Sansa Stark and Arya Stark frowning at Jon. This might be related to Jon’s initiative in including Daenerys into their kingdom.
And the sisters not approving of this. Game of Thrones season 8 will provide the answers to all these questions. The release date is 14 April 2019.
