Well, a lot of people died in the battle, but all the main characters made it through. But Daenerys Targaryen star Emilia Clarke may have revealed the reason behind it. She believes that it is not over yet and fans will find it out in the Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5. Emilia teased,

Emilia Clarke was pushed for more spoiler details and she said that the fans should watch Game of Thrones season 8 episode 4 and 5 on the biggest screen they could find. The show will now proceed towards the big battle between Cersei Lannister and Daenerys. It will only get more interesting now. But looking at the number of people that died, they may be left wondering what are they actually fighting for?
Meanwhile, Arya Stark star Maisie Williams talked about the big moment that finally brought an end to the Long Night. When she came to shoot the episode, everybody was discussing it. But as she hasn’t read the script at that time, she couldn’t join the buzz.
Arya Stark actress had no option but to ask questions about the wights and the Night King. When they finally got to know that Arya would be the one to kill the Night King, everyone cheered up. Williams felt that it was unbelievable and not many Game of Thrones season 8 fans would be happy with it. But it was supposed to be done the way it was.
