Square Enix has confirmed that they will be revealing more information about the remake next month. The next teaser will hopefully drop in the E3.
But first of all, let’s take a look at what we know about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII game.
Why is it being remade?
Final Fantasy has more than 15 titles under its belt. However, it is interesting to see that Square Enix chose Final Fantasy VII. It is a Role-Playing Game(RPG) released in 1997 by Square.
The seventh installment of the Final Fantasy franchise received a huge critical and commercial success. The game is hailed as one of the greatest of all time.
This could be the reason Sony is betting its money on the remake of this game. The success the game had is a good motivator for the console giant to launch the remake.
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Release Date
There is no clear indication about the release date of the game. However, rumors hint that an important announcement related to the game is due in the next few months.
In contrast, people are speculating that the game will be released in early 2020.
