Coronavirus deaths in the United States of America are way higher than the official numbers as per a new report. As of this writing, the US has officially registered 16,676 deaths due to the novel coronavirus with more than 469,121 confirmed positive cases. There are several people who have died earlier due to Covid-19 but the Coronavirus disease was not considered as a pandemic then and hence no tests were done.
“When you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”

The death toll due to the looming global virus is much higher as per the public health experts. Coronavirus related death numbers are much higher but lack of protocols, testing procedure and obscure testing portrays a very low number in the official reports.
Earlier COVID-19 Deaths were Reported as Normal Disease Cases
It will take months or even years after the Coronavirus pandemic is over to tally the accurate number of death by the disease. The deaths that happened earlier in February due to COVID-19 were registered as pneumonia or seasonal flu in the United States. The medical officials are saying that they had a large number of pneumonia patients earlier which could be actually related to Coronavirus infection.

There are also a lot of home deaths where the deceased had symptoms like Coronavirus but without any test, nothing could be confirmed. Many people have also shared such incidents where the private autopsy reports have confirmed that the patient indeed died of Covid-19.
Real Coronavirus Death Numbers are Much Higher
The Coronavirus related deaths in the US seems very low when we look at the number of confirmed cases. It seems plausible that Trump administration is trying to downplay the numbers to make themselves look better. There are a lot of deaths due to Coronavirus which are not even noted down in the official register. The official number of coronavirus deaths in the United States won’t be known until 2021 when the federal government releases an annual list with proper details.
